Sewage / Effluent Design — Handles Raw Waste
Sewage pump construction handles raw sewage, biological waste, and solids in residential septic and municipal lift station applications. Impeller clearances and casing geometry are sized for sewage solids passage.
2" Solids Handling
2" spherical solids handling capability allows the pump to pass tissue, sanitary products, and other residential sewage materials without clogging — the minimum recommended for residential sewage applications.
Cast Iron Construction — Long Service Life
Cast iron casing and impeller provide the wear resistance required for continuous sewage pumping. Cast iron is the industry standard for sewage pump construction — thermoplastic construction is not recommended for primary sewage service.
Thermal Overload — Continuous Duty Rated
Motor is rated for continuous duty operation with built-in thermal overload protection. Sewage pumps must handle demand spikes from simultaneous fixture usage without motor failure.
NEMA 6 Submersible Rating
Rated for continuous submersible operation to NEMA 6 standards — sealed motor, oil-filled for thermal management, and hermetically sealed bearing housings for long submerged service life.
