Liberty Transfer Pumps
Liberty transfer pumps are portable or inline utility pumps used for moving clean water and non-flammable liquids in general-purpose applications. These pumps fill the gap between a garden hose and a permanent pump installation — providing on-demand pumping for water transfer, tank filling, equipment draining, and emergency water removal.
Common transfer pump applications include draining water heaters, filling or emptying above-ground pools and hot tubs, dewatering window wells or flooded areas, transferring water between tanks or containers, and boosting pressure in low-flow situations. Select a transfer pump based on the flow rate needed (gallons per minute), the lift or pressure requirement, the connection type (garden hose thread vs. NPT), and whether you need a self-priming pump (for applications where the pump sits above the water level) or a submersible pump (for dropping directly into the water source). Most residential transfer applications are served by 1/2 HP to 1 HP models.
