Liberty High Temperature Pumps
Standard pump seals and motor windings degrade quickly when exposed to elevated fluid temperatures. Liberty high temperature pumps are built with materials and designs rated for hot water applications that would damage conventional pumps — including commercial dishwasher drainage, laundry facility wastewater, boiler blowdown, and industrial process water above 140°F.
The most common driver of high-temp pump selection is commercial kitchen and laundry wastewater. Dishwashers and commercial washing machines discharge water at temperatures that exceed the ratings of standard sump and sewage pumps. Using a standard pump in these applications leads to premature seal failure, winding insulation breakdown, and frequent replacements that cost more in the long run than specifying the correct high-temperature pump from the start.
When selecting a high-temperature pump, confirm the maximum fluid temperature your application produces, the required flow rate and head, the solids handling needs (grey water vs. sewage), and the discharge connection size. Liberty high-temp options cover both sump/effluent and sewage applications depending on the waste stream.
