Single-vane S-tube impeller passes solids up to 80mm without clogging. Designed specifically for raw sewage, sludge, and storm water with solids.

Dry or Submersible Installation

SE can be installed submersed in a wet well or dry in a valve chamber. Same pump, two installation options — confirms specification flexibility.

IE3 Motor Standard

IE3 motor efficiency reduces operating cost in continuous pumping applications. IE5 option available on selected models.

Auto-Coupling System

SE fits Grundfos rail-and-auto-coupling systems. Pump lowers onto the coupling guide and seals automatically — no diver entry, no tools.

Mechanical Seal — Double

Double mechanical seal with oil barrier protects the motor from pump fluid. Standard protection for sewage and wastewater applications.

Temperature limits Do not exceed max fluid temperature 104°F or max ambient temperature 104°F. Exceeding limits damages seals and motor insulation.
Dry running Do not run dry. SE pumps use the pumped fluid to lubricate the shaft seal. Dry running destroys the seal within seconds. Install dry-run protection on all automatic installations.
