KPG. 48. 265. 14. T. 60. 17. E. 46 | The Grundfos KPG axial flow propeller pump range is the ideal choice for flood and storm water control. The KPG range is designed for permanent and submerged installation in gate pump installations requiring limited space e. g. in residential or commercial areas. The KPG range is built on Grundfos’ well known KPL pump range fitted with extra low head hydraulics i. e. KPL. E. Grundfos KPG pumps are offered in different installation variants designed to meet customer needs such as: Horizontal installation typeWhere the KGP pump is installed horizontally and submerged in a pump gate which can be lifted and lowered vertically. Vertical installation typeWhere the KGP pump is installed vertically and submerged in a pump gate which can be lifted and lowered vertically. Hydraulic cylinder installation typeWhere the KGP pump is installed horizontally and submerged in a pump gate which can be opened and closed by means of hydraulic forces, etc. KPG pumps facilitates easy transportation and installation on site as well as fixation of the power supply cable. The pumps are made of resistant materials, such as cast iron and stainless steel. These materials as well as the unique hydraulic design ensures an outstanding operational reliability and durability. The pumps are very service friendly and they feature a wide range of unique features such as a double mechanical shaft seal built into a cartridge design. The cartridge shaft seal ensures optimal alignment of the shaft seal faces and easy and fast replacement in the field; even without the need of special tools.
