Submersible Design — Continuous Basement Protection
Submersible construction allows the pump to operate fully submerged in the sump pit — the correct installation for reliable, automatic basement drainage protection. The motor is oil-filled for heat dissipation and continuous duty rating.
Thermal Overload Protection — Auto Reset
Integral thermal overload protection in the motor windings automatically shuts the pump down if the motor overheats and resets automatically once cooled. Prevents motor burnout from blocked discharge or extended run-dry conditions.
Vortex Impeller — Solids Handling Without Clogging
Vortex-style impeller passes solids without direct impeller contact — the fluid vortex carries solids through without lodging them in the impeller passages. Critical for sump applications where the pit accumulates debris, sand, and particulates.
Quick-Connect Power Cord
Quick-connect cord design allows replacement of the power cord without breaking the motor seal — the most common cause of submersible pump failure is a damaged cord. Field-replaceable cord extends pump service life significantly.
