Stainless Steel Wetted Parts

All parts in contact with the pumped fluid are stainless steel — impeller, shaft, chamber. Cast iron is used only for the head and base which never contact the fluid.

Temperature limits	Do not exceed max fluid temperature 248°F or max ambient temperature 131°F. Exceeding limits damages seals and motor insulation.
Dry running	Do not run dry. CR pumps use the pumped fluid to lubricate the shaft seal. Dry running destroys the seal within seconds. Install dry-run protection on all automatic installations.
