Description
The Burks 7G5-1-1/4-CS 7g5-1-1/4-cs — g series pump, size 7, model 5, 1-1/4" connection, carbon steel. Burks Regenerative Turbine Pumps unique design is engineered for high pressure, low flow applications. The raceway conducts fluid into the impeller and then provides a channel for the liquid to move as it is propelled and energized by the impeller. Pumps are a Series capacity up to 91 gpm at 350 ft head.
Regenerative Turbine Design — High Head at Low Flow
Regenerative (peripheral) turbine design generates high head pressure at low flow rates — the correct performance curve for boiler feed, condensate return, and pressure boosting where centrifugal pumps cannot reach required head.
Continuous Duty for Boiler Feed Service
Rated for continuous boiler feed and condensate return service at elevated temperatures. Constructed with materials compatible with hot condensate and treated boiler feedwater.
Close-Coupled Compact Design
Close-coupled to standard NEMA-frame motors — compact installation footprint suitable for boiler rooms and mechanical spaces where frame-mounted pump clearances are unavailable.
Stainless Steel Impeller
Stainless steel impeller resists corrosion in treated boiler feedwater and condensate return service — cast iron impellers corrode over time in high-temperature water applications.
Mechanical Seal — Zero Stuffing Box Leakage
Mechanical seal eliminates the periodic adjustment and packing replacement required with stuffing box construction — no drip, no periodic repacking, no operator maintenance.
Crane Pumps Engineering
Burks and Weinman regenerative turbine pumps are manufactured by Crane Pumps & Systems in Piqua, Ohio — the standard choice for boiler feed and condensate return applications.

| Fluid compatibility | For use with liquids compatible with pump component materials. Verify chemical, temperature, and pressure compatibility before use. |
| Electrical | Requires a properly sized grounded branch circuit and motor starter with correctly rated thermal overload protection. |
| Operating limits | Do not exceed series pressure, temperature, and speed ratings. Operation outside rated limits causes premature seal and bearing failure. |
| Service | Disconnect and lockout/tagout power before any service. Allow pump to cool before handling after operation. |
