Submersible Construction — Designed for Continuous Submerged Operation

Cast iron and stainless steel construction is rated for continuous submerged operation. The oil-filled motor dissipates heat into the surrounding fluid — allowing continuous duty in submerged installations where air-cooled motors would overheat.

Hi-Chromium Steel Impeller — Abrasion Resistant for Dirty Water

Hi-chromium (HCr) steel impeller resists abrasive wear from sand, grit, and sediment. In dirty water applications, HCr impellers can last 3-5x longer than standard cast iron impellers before replacement is required.

Silicon Carbide Mechanical Seals

Silicon carbide seal faces are significantly harder than standard carbon/ceramic seals. In sediment-laden and abrasive applications, silicon carbide seals dramatically outlast standard seal materials before replacement is needed.

Self-Cleaning Impeller — Solids Handling

The impeller geometry passes solids up to 3/8" diameter without clogging — semi-solids, leaves, and construction debris pass through rather than lodging between vanes, reducing unplanned downtime in demanding dewatering applications.

UL and CSA listed for safe installation in US and Canadian electrical systems. Required for commercial and industrial installations where AHJ inspection and code compliance are mandatory.

Companion Flange Connection — 3" and 4" Models

3" and 4" models feature companion flange connections for direct attachment to flanged discharge piping — eliminates threaded adapter fittings and provides a more secure, leak-resistant discharge connection in high-vibration applications.
