The AMT 388J-97 TEFC Bronze pumps centrifugal pump 1-1/2" bronze. Delivers up to 136 GPM. AMT Bronze Centrifugal pumps are designed for use with most gravity fed service applications requiring chemical processing and dirty water transfer. All models are fitted with a self-cleaning stainless steel impeller for maximum 1/8” diameter solids

End-Suction Close-Coupled Design

Close-coupled design eliminates the flexible coupling and separate bearing housing of frame-mounted pumps — fewer components, smaller footprint, and lower maintenance requirements. NEMA-frame motor for direct interchangeability with standard replacements.

Dual Volute Casing — Extended Bearing and Seal Life

Dual volute design balances radial hydraulic forces on the impeller. Single-volute pumps develop a net radial force that increases bearing wear especially at off-BEP points. The dual volute significantly extends bearing and mechanical seal service life.

Available in cast iron, bronze, stainless steel, and thermoplastic construction — select the casing and seal materials matched to your specific fluid, temperature, and chemical compatibility requirements.

NEMA 56J Frame — Standard Motor Interchangeability

NEMA 56J motor frame is fully interchangeable with motors from any major manufacturer. Motor replacement in the field requires no special tooling, no custom parts, and no factory service — any electrician can replace the motor with a standard stocking item.
